Arkell’s Update

ON Wednesday 12th September, Community Mobiliser Chris Tanner met with George Arkell to discuss the latest plans for the new build pub at Tadpole Garden Village.

A brief synopsis of the meeting can be found below – with a number of events planned with Arkell’s and Tadpole Garden Village.

– Event planned at TGV for October for residents to be the first to see plans for the new pub and discuss their views/ideas
– George Arkell and Crest Nicholson will attend the October event and are keen to meet residents
– Arkell’s setting up an additional way that residents can submit suggestions (they were delighted with yesterday’s response and thoughts
– The build – Arkell’s are aiming for planning in early November, build due to start early summer 2019 with opening due in Autumn 2019
– Brewery tour also planned for TGV residents in early 2019

Arkell’s are very excited about this project and it sounds like the design, offering and outcome is going to be something pretty special!
