Local Contractors Wanted

As Tadpole Garden Village grows and more assets are completed and handed over to the Tadpole Garden Village Community Interest Company (TGVCIC), Preim will have more assets to maintain.

Such assets include fencing, landscaped areas, blocks of flats, bin stores, play equipment etc. Preim, on behalf of the TGVCIC, always has an interest in using local contractors and tradesmen where possible, predominantly the current contractors used at TGV are either based in Swindon or around the region.

Recently on other developments, Preim have found it very useful to have approved contractors on our system who actually live on the development, this has led to a high standard of work, quicker response times and generally as the contractors are residents they tend to engage with residents and go above and beyond.

Preim would be very interested to hear from any residents living at TGV who have their own businesses and who would be able to provide the below services:

Any FM contractors
Handymen/Carpenters
Cleaning companies

Currently the TGVCIC has nine blocks of flats that it maintains so a site handyman would be very useful due to the number of small fault/repairs required on bin stores, door closers, lights etc.

Some of the larger contracts do not end until April 2020 for cleaning, window cleaning, however when we go to tender we will happily include any companies residents either run or recommend.

All contractors will need to be approved by Preim and show that they have the necessary insurance, health and safety accreditation etc., however this can be discussed with the TGV Estate Manager, Simon New.
