Steering Committee Meeting – Updates
February 21, 2018
THE Tadpole Garden Village Community Interest Company (CIC) steering committee met last night (Tuesday 20th February 2018) with a number of issues discussed.
The CIC is seeking to improve communication with all residents and developers, with a selection of items raised and their outcomes listed below:
Parking – Contractor parking in visitors’ bays raised by some residents as an issue. If this occurs then email registration plates to helpdesk@preim.co.uk
Traffic – Crest have employed two traffic marshals to assist with traffic flow around school pick up and drop off times, as well as monitoring contractor and delivery parking.
Speeding – CIC have asked Preim to discuss options for permanent measures once the roads are adopted – this will be at the discretion of the council.
Dog Fouling – Extra dog waste bins and anti-fouling posters were discussed and where to site them, as well as extra measure that can be taken such as evidence, fines and a ‘street clean’ team.
Neighbourhood watch – Plenty of communication between residents on this with further groups being set up on and offline.
Traffic Calming – Improvements to the entrance points to TGV were discussed with the need for priority signage (planters). This is being requested via Preim to Crest.
Verges – Some damage has been caused by contractors/deliveries. Preim are in contact with Crest with reference to correction and preventative measures.
