
TGV Visit to Blunsdon Railway
TADPOLE Garden Village residents are invited to an exclusive behind the scenes visit to Blunsdon Station on Sunday 5th August.
Part of the Swindon & Cricklade Railway, Blunsdon Station is located just a mile from Tadpole Garden Village – with this event a great way to find out about one of the closest attractions.
Here is the itinerary for the visit:
9.15am – Arrive
9.30am – Depart to Hayes Knoll for a behind-the-scenes tour. On arrival there will be a 30-minute stop, including time for a guided tour around the shed and signal box before the train returns down the line to Blunsdon.
10.30am – Depart to Taw Valley on with a guide to answer questions en-route.
11.11am – Arrive 11.11am for a cup of tea and a piece of cake (included in ticket price)

Adult £12
Children (16 and under) £8
0–5 years (free, max two children per paying Adult)
Tickets are limited in terms of numbers, so booking in advance is essential.
