Plans for Temporary Sales Unit
September 22, 2018
CREST Nicholson will shortly be submitting plans to Swindon Borough Council for the siting of a temporary mobile sales unit on the corner of William Morris Way and Burden Road, opposite the site for the new Local Centre.
The temporary sales unit will serve both the Local Centre development and Phase 4.8, known as the Farmstead. It is envisaged to only be required for up to a year. Off road visitor parking specifically to serve the sales unit will be provided along the front of the Local Centre site on Burden Road.
Once registered with Swindon Borough Council, the plans will be subject to public consultation and comments can be submitted via the Council’s planning portal on its website.
A ‘preview’ event is being arranged specifically for residents of Tadpole Garden Village to get an update on the progress of the Local Centre and the Farmstead, as well as the proposals for the temporary sales unit, with plans available for viewing on the night. Further information will be posted on the Tadpole Garden Village Community website within the next few days.
