Corrective measures to ground areas

Due to the warm weather conditions the ground at Tadpole Garden Village has become very dry and this is resulting in cracks, holes and uneven surfaces.

We would ask that extra care is taken in open space areas including play parks, common area and allotments.

Crest Strategic Projects are working closely with a contractor to monitor and manage the situation, including remediation of problem areas, and ask that you refrain from accessing any cordoned off locations.

Both PREIM and Crest Nicholson have had contractors on site (Wednesday 18th July) filling in the largest cracks that are trip hazards, they have been focusing on the NEAP, LEAP and Stray play areas before moving onto the Eastern Common and along the large communal fields.

Moving forward these areas will be regularly inspected and topped up as and when required.

Can all residents please ensure that they take care when they are walking in these areas, should residents notice any other cracks or holes appearing in the communal areas that residents use then please report these to PREIM Ltd or Crest Nicholson Strategic.
