Tadpole Volunteers – do you need help?

January 5, 2020

Following the announcement of the latest lockdown in January 2021, a group of Tadpole Garden Village residents are continuing a volunteer initiative to help those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

Tadpole Volunteers was established in March to help the vulnerable in Tadpole Garden Village and the surrounding areas – for example, helping the elderly get their shopping, providing assistance to those in self-isolation, being there for our neighbours.

During March, volunteers delivered 1,500 leaflets – sponsored by Preim – to assist those in need and the support network continues during this second lockdown period. This continued during the lockdown in Autum 2020, and is set to assist residents in need once again.

Members of the volunteer group are available to fulfil a wide variety of requests including picking up prescriptions, collecting shopping and running essential errands.

If you need support, please email or visit the Tadpole Volunteers website for more information.
